Anchor House Perth
At Anchor House Perth, we’ve been providing lifechanging support to people across Perth and Kinross since 1988. From our beginnings supporting individuals affected by homelessness, we’ve grown into a trusted organisation offering a range of services that help people improve their wellbeing, maintain independence, and live full, connected lives within their communities.
Our work is guided by a simple principle People Matter. Whether someone needs help navigating a crisis, managing mental health challenges, or building the confidence to live more independently, we’re here to offer support that is personal, respectful, and empowering.
Our Services
1. The Neuk – Mental Health and Crisis Support
The Neuk is our mental health crisis and suicide prevention centre, offering immediate, face-to-face support to anyone in emotional distress.
It’s a safe, welcoming space where people can speak to a Wellbeing Mentor and access short-term crisis counselling, wellbeing sessions, and follow-on therapeutic support such as trauma counselling or hypnotherapy.
The Neuk works closely with local GPs, NHS services, and community partners to ensure people receive the right help, at the right time, in a compassionate, non-judgemental environment.
2. Crieff Road – Supported Accommodation
Our Crieff Road service provides supported accommodation for adults who are moving on from homelessness or facing complex life challenges.
We work alongside individuals to develop the skills and confidence they need to sustain their tenancy, re-engage with the community, and rebuild stability in their lives.
The support provided is practical, person-centred, and designed to help each person move forward at their own pace.
3. Self Directed Support (SDS) Service
Our Self Directed Support (SDS) team offers tailored, flexible outreach support to people living independently across Perth and Kinross.
This service helps individuals make choices about the support they receive, enabling them to participate fully in everyday life from attending social activities and volunteering, to managing their home, appointments, and personal goals.
The focus is always on independence, confidence, and connection, not personal care or domestic tasks.
Our Approach and Values
Anchor House is proud to be part of the local community, and our values are reflected in everything we do:

- Empowerment – helping people take control of their lives and choices.
- Compassion – meeting people where they are, with understanding and empathy.
- Collaboration – working together with partners, families, and professionals to achieve better outcomes.
We believe in creating an environment where both our staff and the people we support can thrive. Our teams are made up of individuals who share a common goal: to make a real and lasting difference in people’s lives.
