Southhouse Autism Unit Support Workers

Earn up to £23,150.16 per year

Full time & Part time contracts available

Southhouse Autism Unit supports 3 people across 2 flats both situated within the same cul-de-sac. The supported people at this service are very active, enjoying activities like football and going on the trampoline. The focus at this service is working with our supported people to get them out into the community and helping them to develop their life skills.

There are good bus links nearby with Lothian bus numbers 7, 11 & 400 approximately a 4 minute walk from the service and Lothian buses 37 & 47 about an eight minute walk from the service.

Shifts at Southhouse Autism Unit are usually 10 or 12 hours. These longer shifts allow you to work your hours over fewer days giving you more days off.

Please note that these roles all include sleepover shifts. A sleepover shift consists of working 10am - 11pm, sleeping over in the service from 11pm - 7am and then working in the morning from 7am - 10:30. The sleepover is over and above your contracted hours and gets paid as an additional payment of £87.20 per sleepover.
