Casual Workers (Opportunites in West Lothian)

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our Developments in West Lothian and Linlithgow on a casual basis. Our caring team works to ensure people aged 50 and over have the opportunity to maintain their independence, but take over the worries, such as meals, repairs and looking after the garden.

Brae Court is situated in the centre of Linlithgow with easy access to local shops and amenities.

There are excellent transport links to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling.

Carron Court is located in a quiet residential area on the edges of Bathgate town centre where there is easy access to local shops and amenities.

Bathgate has excellent transport links to Glasgow, Edinburgh and throughout West Lothian.

Shifts would be offered on a casual basis to cover sickness, vacancy and holiday leave. Hours would typically be 10am - 6pm with an hour break however local arrangements may be in place to adjust these hours.

Casual Retirement Housing with Meals Assistant

You will be responsible for undertaking a range of cleaning duties to ensure that internal communal areas are clean, hygienic and meet the standards expected by our tenants and visitors to the development.

Additional cleaning tasks such as cleaning vacant flats and or external pathways of the development may be undertaken periodically. You may have the opportunity to be involved in other activities within the development including providing general assistance and support to tenants while on duty and supporting the manager with property related tasks. You will also assist by preparing the dining room for mealtimes, heating prepared meals and delivering them to tenants.

Casual Cook

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to showcase creativity with meals whilst consulting with tenants to ensure individual dietary needs are met.

Casual Cooks support cover requirements for planned and emergency leave. This would be a great opportunity for someone who would like to have more flexibility around their working arrangements and/or gain experience in social care.
