24/7 Responder Service, Edinburgh

54/23 Support Worker – 32 Hours (Days)

£10.90 per hour (£11.30 per hour if SVQ 2 Qualified)

Are you looking for a social care role with a twist? Do you have confidence in using technology or a willingness to learn?

The 24/7 Responder Service

Our 24/7 responder support workers support a range of customers using a Technology Enabled Care approach. Using our award-winning CleverCogs technology, remote support is provided both day and night to our customers with varied care and support needs.

There is no typical day of a Responder Support Worker; each day is different.

The Support Worker (24/7 Responder Service) role

You’ll work alongside colleagues to implement safe and personalised responses to video calls activated by customers through a digital tablet which has been provided by us.

Some calls may be helping someone look for something online or sign posting, some may require a short chat to help them through a period of anxiety, some may require a more in-depth chat supporting customers with coping strategies and safe plans. All calls will always be treated with a person-centred approach.

This role is office based though there may be calls that require a physical response in the customer’s home.

In accordance with the new immigration rules, employers must hold a licence of sponsorship to recruit all overseas candidates who do not have the right to work in the UK.
