Bluebird Care – Where you change lives

We’re the best at what we do – and it’s all thanks to talented people like you. As a leading Home Care provider, we take pride in delivering outstanding care, and we’re looking for a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our Care Expert Team.

Our customers should feel comfortable in their own homes, and we help them do exactly that. You’ll be supporting people in all aspects of daily living, working independently or as part of a supportive team every step of the way. This isn’t just a job – it’s a chance to bring purpose and dignity to someone’s life.

Important Requirement: This role involves travelling between customers’ homes, so you must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

If you’re ready to take on a new challenge and provide high-quality care, this is where you belong.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, you will:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs
  • Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Support with meal preparation and nutrition
  • Assist with medication, prescriptions, and safe disposal
  • Carry out light household tasks (tidying, laundry, cleaning)
  • Be a dependable, friendly and familiar face for every customer

Benefits

  • £14 per hour
  • Bank hours available
  • Full induction and ongoing expert training
  • Flexible shift patterns
  • Uniform and PPE provided
  • Regular support and career development opportunities
  • Friendly, inclusive team with 24/7 support

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
  • A kind, compassionate attitude and calm approach to care
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
  • Ability to follow care plans
  • Previous care experience is helpful but not required – full training provided

If you care deeply, Bluebird Care ensures you have the time, training, and support to deliver the high-quality care you’re passionate about.
