About the Role
Brothers of Charity Services is seeking an experienced, committed and values driven Services Manager to lead our supported living services for adults with learning disabilities.
This role is about more than managing a service, it’s about supporting people to live good lives, with dignity, choice, and respect at the centre of all decision making.
You will provide strong, compassionate leadership to staff teams, ensure high quality, person centred support, and work in partnership with families, professionals, and the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and support staff teams in line with Brothers of Charity values
· Ensure individuals are supported to live safely, independently, and meaningfully in their own environments.
· Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies
· Oversee staffing, supervision, training, and performance management
· Promote rights, inclusion, safeguarding, and positive risk-taking
· Build effective relationships with families, social work, and health professionals
· Ensure services are well-led, well-run, and continuously improving
About You
You will:
· Have experience managing services or teams within learning disability or supported living services
· Be approachable, fair, and confident in your leadership
· Be values-led, reflective, and committed to high standards of support
· Understand the importance of partnership working and strong communication
Essential Requirements
· SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare (or working towards)
· Registered with, or eligible to register with, the Scottish Social Services Council
· Experience working with adults with learning disabilities
· Experience in a leadership or management role within social care
