The Vacancy

Zoe, John, Natalie, Lisa and William are fierce Human Rights Defenders for Darren and want the best people for him and their team. Could you be the perfect match?

Darren is adored by his much loved team of Personal Development workers who describe him as inquisitive, playful, determined, sweet, active and adventurous.

If you meet Darren, can you connect with him in the way that his team do? To bend and flex around him to help him navigate all that life throws at him, the ups and the downs. Do you have the stickability factor?

Darren’s team support him every day to live his good life, but he and they need more good people to join them so Darren can do more of the things that bring him joy such as swimming, meeting his sensory needs through painting and crafting and trying new things – which might include cycling and horse riding.

Day-to-Day, routine is important to Darren, knowing that he can trust and feel safe in the people around him, to understand his needs and the importance of routine in his day. Darren living his good life, he is out on long walks – no matter the weather so it is important that new team members are comfortable with this.

Do you have hold the same beliefs? knowing that Darren has the right to live in his own home, with good neighbours around him, where he is equally a part of his local community.

Being a driver would be an advantage as Darren likes to go coastal walks along quiet beaches or amongst woodlands in large country parks.
