The Vacancy

Ross is 23 years and lives in Robroyston with his mum. Ross is a son, a grandson, a friend, a student and a committed fundraiser for charities close to his heart. People who know Ross well say he is bright, curious, ambitious, sensitive and out going.

Ross is very active, one of his greatest joys in life is cycling, feeling the wind tingle against his face as he whizzes past people in his local park on his adapted race running bike.

Ross is recruiting a new Personal Development Worker (support worker type role) to join his existing team. 7.5 hours P/W over 2 days (evening and a weekend day.)

Could you be the ideal match? If you have an interest in fitness and staying healthy, that would be awesome. Being flexible would also be an advantage as Ross spends regular time with family and needs support to work around this. As a match you will also be able to support Ross being a wheelchair user and with personal care.

Benefits include:

  • We pay PVG and SSSC fees.
  • 30 days annual leave - rising to 35 days after 5 years' service.
  • Life Assurance
  • Access to discount scheme
  • Cycle to work and tech scheme
  • Credit Union affiliation
  • Flexible working options
  • Health Plan
