Reporting To: Residential Care Leader

The Role:

As a Homemaker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents’ wellbeing and independence by maintaining a clean and nurturing home environment. You’ll assist with domestic tasks, meal preparation, and social activities, helping to create a space where everyone feels valued and included.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domestic Support: Maintain cleanliness, assist with cooking and laundry, and encourage resident participation.
  • Resident Wellbeing: Build trusting relationships, promote independence, and support life skills development.
  • Social Engagement: Facilitate activities, celebrations, and shared experiences within the community.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with our house teams to provide holistic support.

Qualifications:

Desirable:

  • Food preparation qualification
  • First Aid certificate

Experience and Skills:

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safeguarding

Personal Attributes:

  • Passion for creating a homely environment
