My name is William, but I like to be called Billy, I am an intelligent 81-year-old gentlemen that lives on the outskirts of Castle Douglas with my Wife Elizabeth. I enjoy having other people’s company that I can have a little joke and laugh with from time to time but sometimes I can come across to be a little bit quiet. I enjoy watching wrestling, news and other programs on the telly sometimes to the early hours of the morning. I also enjoy doing cryptic crosswords on the computer.

Due to my recent health situation, I am looking to recruit a personal assistant as I am currently recovering from a stroke at home and suffer from COPD disease and blind spots in my eyesight.

I am looking for someone with experience in adult care to support me in personal care and medication prompting. My mobility isn’t the best and I do use a Zimmer frame to get around the house but sometimes require assistance. The hour for this role is 14 hours per week over 7 days ideally twice daily. The rate of pay is £12 per hour and annual leave pay is included. Flexibility is required, times can be discussed at interview.

I am a caring person and would like to find someone that shares the same interests as myself and is reliable.

Due to my rural location, you will need access to your own vehicle as there isn’t any local transport links near, and a suitable PVG is required for this role.
