Hello, I'm Richard and I am 75 years young. I live with my wife and dogs in a lovely part of Dumfries & Galloway. I have Parkinsons so I struggle with my mobility on occaision. I am looking for a personal assistant to help me with daily living tasks. I'm a kind and gentle person who enjoys a quiet and peaceful life. I love doing puzzles such as daily Wordle. I also like to go into my beautiful garden with my dogs and to go for short walks if the weather is good. I also like to watch sports on my iPad and reading. I enjoy good food and after a long day like to relax by the fire with my dogs and a glass of red wine.

I am looking for someone with the following qualities:

  • Friendly
  • Honest and Trustworthy
  • Reliable
  • Empathetic
  • Sensitive to my moods and needs
  • Has some knowledge of Parkinsons

The Support that I need is:

  • Washing
  • Dressing
  • Showering
  • Meal preperation
  • Medication prompting
  • Help with my commode

The support is for 19 hours per week and would be for three or four visits per day, this could consist of :

  • One hour in the morning
  • Half an hour at lunch
  • 45 minutes at tea
  • Half hour evening visit

This will be discussed more at interview and the pay rate may be negotiable to the right candidate.
