personal Assistant

Hi, my name is Murray, and I am 27 years old. I have complex learning difficulties and autism, so I struggle with communication, fine motor skills and loud noises. I am looking for someone to join my small team of personal assistants. I am looking for a personal assistant who can cover 4 hours on a Friday morning (10am- 2pm). I like routine so I am unable to be flexible with these times, however there will be possibility to increase these in the future to cover my other PA, or if our time together goes well.

I enjoy baking and watching my shows on TV. I need someone who enjoys watching television and films and rewinding my favourite parts, sometimes several times! I am very caring and have a great sense of humour and enjoy lots of laughs. My main hobby is taking photos of characters and places I see on the TV and printing them out, I also use these photos to explain what I would like to talk about or watch. When you start the help will mainly be in the house, but I do enjoy going for walks or standing at the end of the road watching cars, buses and lorries going past.

From a personal assistant I am looking for someone who can stick to a schedule as I like to stick to my routine. Someone who can be patient to get to know me and who doesn’t mind being repetitive. I also want someone who is trustworthy. Mainly I would like someone who will have conversations with me and have some fun!

The rate of pay would be £14.00 per hour with paid annual leave of 5.6 weeks pro rata. A suitable PVG is required
