About Me

Hi, I am 8 years old and I am a very active boy who loves being out and about and having fun!

I enjoy playing with Lego, football and rugby. I also love going to the park and swimming. I have lots of energy and enjoy keeping busy and taking part in different activities.

What I Need

I am looking for a friendly, patient and caring Personal Assistant to support me when I go out and take part in activities that I enjoy.

I am currently awaiting assessment for autism and ADHD, so it would be helpful if you have an understanding.

I can be very sensory-seeking and sometimes put things in my mouth, so I need someone who will be aware of this and help keep me safe while still encouraging me to have fun and enjoy my independence.

About You

I would like someone who is:

• Fun, friendly and energetic
• Patient and understanding
• Confident supporting me when we are out in the community
• Understanding of Autism, ADHD and sensory needs
• Able to keep me safe while helping me enjoy new experiences
• Happy to join in with the activities I love

Hours and Pay

• Hours: 2 hours per week during school term time, increasing to 6 hours per week during school holidays.
• Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour.
• Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks’ paid holiday entitlement, calculated pro rata.
• Possible relocation from Newton Stewart to Stranraer in next few months
