Personal Assistant - Stranraer

Are you reliable and enjoy a chat? Then I am looking for you.

I am a young 64-year-old lady that lives near Stranraer with my husband. I am well looked after by my fabulous Personal Assistant and my amazing husband. I am however looking for someone to initially work 1 day per week to provide additional respite care to allow my husband to recharge his batteries. You would be expected to take over from the Personal Assistant at approx 10.00 am and finish around 5.00pm.

I have been living with Brain Cancer for several years resulting in word finding difficulties, weakness down my right side and chronic fatigue especially during the afternoons. I am looking for someone that is reliable, patient and enjoys a chat. I am non-ambulant so you would be expected to make transfers via a Sara Stedy as necessary and prepare and serve light meals as necessary. Working arrangements are based around a 7 hour day (Mon-Fri). Days, times and wages will be discussed at interview. Experience isn’t essential for this role. A suitable PVG is required but don’t worry if you don’t have one, I can support you in getting one.
