Personal Assistant - Stranraer

About Me

Hi, I’m Rebekah, a friendly 35-year-old mum of two. I’m a full-time wheelchair user looking for an additional Personal Assistant to join my small team.

I’m very independent and enjoy getting out and about, spending time with my children, and living an active family life. I’m looking for someone reliable and caring to support me in the afternoons, as well as providing holiday and sickness cover for my regular morning PA.

About the role

You’ll support me with:

• School pick-up for my children.
• Attending appointments and community activities.
• Meal preparation.
• Light household tasks.
• Helping me access my vehicle by lifting and folding my lightweight electric wheelchair (not lifting me).
• A full UK driving licence is essential, as there will be occasions when you’ll need to drive my automatic car.

About you

I’m looking for someone who is:

• Friendly and easy-going.
• Reliable and patient.
• Has a good sense of humour.
• Happy working as part of a small, supportive team.

Hours and Pay

• Monday to Friday
• 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm
• Additional hours available to cover holidays and sickness.
• £13.45 per hour
• 6 weeks holiday pro rata
• PVG required
