Capability Scotland is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our friendly Day Service team in Glasgow. You'll support adults with a range of disabilities, helping them develop skills, build confidence, enjoy meaningful activities and achieve their personal goals in a safe and welcoming environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a rewarding Monday to Friday role with no evening or night shifts.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you'll:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with disabilities.
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, including personal care where required.
  • Assist with medication, mealtimes and personal wellbeing.
  • Encourage independence, confidence and life skills.
  • Support people to take part in recreational, educational and community activities.
  • Build positive relationships with the people you support, their families and professionals.
  • Act as a Key Worker, maintaining accurate support records, care plans and risk assessments.
  • Promote dignity, choice, inclusion and safeguarding in everything you do.

No two days are the same, but every day offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference.

  • A great communicator with a positive attitude.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to learn and develop through ongoing training.

Experience supporting adults with disabilities is desirable but not essential – we provide full training and ongoing support.

A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship for this role.
