We’re currently looking for caring and motivated Support Workers / Community Living Assistants to join our welcoming teams at Upper Springland Campus in Perth.

About the Opportunities

Depending on your role, you’ll support individuals in a variety of settings:

Residential Services

Supporting people in their own apartments within our campus, promoting independence and community engagement.

Day Opportunities Centre

Working in a purpose-built environment with sensory areas, creative spaces and accessible facilities.

Community Outreach

Helping people live independently in their own homes and stay connected within their communities.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You may:

  • Support with personal care, medication and mealtimes
  • Encourage participation in activities such as arts, music, baking, sports, cinema trips and more
  • Help individuals build confidence and independence
  • Provide both one-to-one and group support
  • Follow and contribute to person-centred care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and report any changes

We actively encourage staff to bring their own interests into the role your hobbies and skills can help create meaningful experiences for the people we support.

About You

You may already have experience in:

  • Social care, residential or community-based support
  • Supporting individuals with Autism, brain or spinal injuries, epilepsy, cerebral palsy or similar needs
  • Personal care and medication support
  • Facilitating activities and community engagement
  • Person-centred planning and documentation

Desirable (not essential):

  • Knowledge of AAC or Makaton
  • Driving licence (for roles involving adapted vehicles — travel costs covered)
  • SVQ qualification or SSSC registration (we can support you to achieve these)

Above all, we’re looking for people who are compassionate, patient, creative and committed.

Flexibility & Working Hours

We offer flexible working patterns and will aim to match roles to your availability:

  • Contracts from relief/bank up to 37 hours per week
  • Day service hours typically Monday–Friday, 9:30am – 3:30pm
  • Residential and outreach roles include day, back and night shifts
  • Rolling rotas provided in advance to support work-life balance
