Summary

As a Community Care Practitioner in Dumfries, you will be instrumental in delivering compassionate care to individuals in need, reporting directly to the Locality Manager. This role requires a valid driving licence as you will travel to clients' homes to provide essential support, including assistance with daily living activities and medication administration. Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
• Monitor and document clients' health and behaviour, reporting any changes to the Locality Manager.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with family members and other care professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in community care or related fields
• Valid driving license
• Skills in medication administration and first aid
• Ability to perform moving and handling and meal preparation
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective behaviour management
