Support Worker / Health Care Assistant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a competent and organised Health Care Assistant to join Care1 Professional Services LTD; a well-established home care organisation. We are looking for self-driven, caring, and passionate staff to join our company.

Options available include Part-time and Full-time hours. We have work in Fife, West Lothian, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, Glasgow, West Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Refrewshire and Inverclyde.

• Salary: £13.45 hour and 45p/mile
• Part-time and Full-time hours: 16 - 37.50 per week
• Statutory sick pay subject to entitlement
• Holiday: 28 days including Bank Holidays depending on contract
• Pension Contribution with option to opt out
• Free, ongoing training, including in house SVQ training
• Uniform provided free of charge

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working at various Care Homes, People's Home and Hospitals as necessary.
• Providing support with personal care, feeding, and any other duties as identified.
• Support Home Manager / Care Co-ordinator to maintain a good quality service through compliance and implementation of standards in line with the Care Inspectorate’s requirements.
• Perform any other relevant duties as may be required.

Requirements:

• Experience working within the Health and Social Care sector (desirable).
• SSSC registration/ willingness to register within 6 months of starting work.
• Good people skills; a high level of efficiency in care provision; willingness to learn and ability to adapt.
• Ability to work flexibly to support with staffing in emergency situations.
• Car user (desirable).
