Are you an experienced care professional with a passion for supporting people and leading others? We're looking for an Assistant House Coordinator to help lead one of our residential homes for adults with learning disabilities.
Working alongside the House Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care while supporting the day-to-day management of the home. You'll lead by example, supervise and develop staff and volunteers, and step into the House Coordinator role when required.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the household and leading in the House Coordinator's absence.
- Delivering and promoting outstanding person-centred care.
- Supervising, supporting and developing staff and volunteers.
- Assisting with care planning, risk assessments and medication management.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals.
- Helping ensure the home meets regulatory standards while maintaining a warm, welcoming environment.
About you
You'll have:
- At least 2 years' experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
- At least 1 year's experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A commitment to promoting dignity, independence and choice.
A relevant Health & Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards one), SSSC registration and a full manual driving licence are desirable.
