Corbenic Camphill Community | Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

Are you an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in your career? Do you believe everyone deserves to live a meaningful, fulfilling life? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

At Corbenic Camphill Community, we support adults with learning disabilities to live rich, purposeful lives within a vibrant community. We're looking for a compassionate, motivated Assistant House Coordinator to help lead one of our residential homes and support both our residents and our dedicated staff team.

Working alongside the House Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a safe, welcoming and nurturing home where people can thrive. You'll lead by example, empower colleagues, champion person-centred practice and help ensure every resident receives the highest standard of care and support.

What you'll be doing

As Assistant House Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of daily life in the home, including:

  • Supporting the day-to-day leadership and smooth running of the household, stepping into the House Coordinator role when required.
  • Delivering and promoting exceptional, person-centred care that values each individual's strengths, choices and aspirations.
  • Leading, mentoring and developing staff and volunteers to build a positive, skilled and motivated team.
  • Supporting care planning, risk assessments, medication management and record keeping.
  • Building strong, positive relationships with residents, families, advocates and external professionals.
  • Helping maintain compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a warm, homely and inclusive environment.
  • Encouraging residents to develop independence, confidence and meaningful participation in community life.

About you

We're looking for someone who is caring, proactive and passionate about making a real difference.

You'll have:

  • At least 2 years' experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
  • At least 1 year's experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive, flexible approach and the ability to motivate and support others.
  • A genuine commitment to promoting dignity, independence, choice and inclusion.

A relevant Health & Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards one), SSSC registration and a full manual driving licence are desirable.

Why join Corbenic?

This is more than a management role, it's an opportunity to become part of a close-knit community where relationships matter, every day is different, and your leadership has a genuine impact on people's lives.

If you're ready to develop your career while helping create a place where people feel valued, supported and empowered to flourish, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and help us continue creating a community where everyone belongs.
