Are you an experienced Administrator looking for a fresh new role for the New Year? Well you’re in luck! We’re now on the lookout for a friendly, efficient and reliable new colleague to join our amazing team in the Scottish Borders as Branch Administrator on a part-time (20 hours), permanent basis.


The Role


As Branch Administrator, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day administration tasks of our Scottish Borders Branch.

This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role and you’ll act as a central point of contact within our branch, coordinating a wide range of administrative tasks, including:-

  • Being the first point of contact for the branch via phone, email and in person.
  • Supporting our services and Branch Leader with administrative tasks such as coordinating internal and external meetings, minute taking and preparing agendas
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Banking & finances
  • Supporting the management of our local branch hubs with things such as repairs, utilites and reporting any faults to the landlord.
  • Managing staff files and supporting managers with rota management
  • Maintaining Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) information
  • Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) applications
  • Scheduling and planning meetings


About You


What we’ll need you to bring: -

  • Experience in providing administrative support in a customer-facing role
  • Confidence in the use of Microsoft packages (including Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise your workload and work independently
  • Great problem-solving skills with a positive can do attitude and approach
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence to communicate with colleagues, customers and stakeholders at all levels


Shift patterns


This role will involve working in our Scottish Borders office during office hours Monday-Friday. We do have an element of flexibility on the hours and days which would be mutually agreed if you were successful. We will ask about your preferences within the application form.
