Are you on the look out for a rewarding flexible job where you can make a difference in the lives of others? Look no further as we have a great opportunity for you!

Our Glasgow relief pool is growing and we're on the look out for male* colleagues to join our team. The great thing about our relief contracts is they give you flexibility. You tell us when you're available and we would then try to give you shifts to fit.

Shift Patterns

We provide dedicated around the clock support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so our shift patterns do involve early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers and/or waking nights.

The sleepover part of your shift isn't included in your contracted hours, so you will also get an additional £96 for each sleepover worked.

The Role

As a relief colleague, you will play an important part in our team, ensuring that we still provide the best care and support possible during times of staff training, holidays and absence.

The main purpose of your role will be supporting the gentleman we support with all aspects of his daily living, e.g. shopping, finances, cooking, housework and personal care.

The gentleman we support enjoys being out his local community and going for walks. Having a chatty and friendly personality is a must as no two days are the same!

About You

You don't need experience to join our team, we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees!

All we need you to bring is: -

  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • Active listening skills
  • Great communication skills
  • A positive approach to learning
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Having a valid manual UK Drivers licence would be beneficial but not essential
