The Role

You'll play a HUGE part in making a difference in the lives of young people and adults with disabilities and additional support needs in the Airdrie and Coatbridge areas.


You'll support the individuals with daily living tasks which will involve support to appointments, shopping, meal planning, cooking, housework, finances, medication and personal care. No two days are ever the same and you'll find yourself getting involved in activity clubs, swimming, going to the gym, bowling, shopping, going to the cinema and the pub to name a few!

About you


We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need previous experience in care as a Support Worker or qualifications to start your career with us. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualifications and yearly SSSC registration fees!


For these opportunities, a driver with a full UK driving license is essential the people we support have their own mobility cars.

Shift Patterns


We understand that you would like to have a good work/life balance and it's incredibly important to us that you have this, so we will try to be as flexible as possible with our shift patterns. Our team currently deliver support between the hours of 0800-2200 hours, 7 days a week. Weekends and public holidays would form part of your rota in addition to the occasional sleepover on a rotational basis.


We provide outcome focused support, so the majority of our support shifts are between 4 and 12 hours long, depending on what suits you and the individuals you will be supporting. As the support we provide is in longer blocks you will usually support between 1-3 individuals per day.

If you’re successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration. We will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.


Please note - If if you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
