We're now on the lookout for new colleagues to complete our amazing #TeamCastlecraigs in Ardrossan on a permanent full time basis with part time and full time options available.


The Role


You'll be joining a warm, friendly and passionate team who supports 13 individuals who have complex support needs. We have a great team spirit within the service and our colleagues really pride themselves on working together to make a positive difference to the lives of the individuals we support.


As a Support Practitioner, you'll provide personalised, flexible support based on the needs of each individual. You'll support the individuals with all aspects of their daily living, which includes cooking, meal planning, household tasks, medication, finances, appointments and personal care. You'll also support with their hobbies and interests too.


You'll enable the people we support to live as independently as possible and assist them to play an active role within their local communities.


About you


You don't need experience to start your career with us, we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!

Shift Patterns


We are dedicated to providing the best around the clock support possible, so shift patterns will include mornings, days and evenings. Weekends, public holidays and waking nights will also form part of your rota on a rotational basis.


When working a waking night shift you will receive your normal hourly rate plus an an additional £20 for each night worked.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy. If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
