Shift Patterns

Dependent on the team you join, shift patterns can include early mornings, days, evenings, rotational weekends, public holidays. Sleepovers and/or waking nights may also form part of your rota on a rotational basis.



The Role


As a Support Practitioner, you'll play an important part in our team, ensuring that we provide the best care and support possible. The main purpose of your role will be to support individuals who have a disability and/or additional support needs with all aspects of their daily living, e.g. shopping, finances, cooking, medication, household tasks and personal care.


With the individuals we support also enjoying various hobbies and interests, you may also find yourself getting involved in arts & crafts, gardening, going to the cinema, meals out, swimming, discos and going for walks to name a few.

As some of the people we support have their own mobility car it is essential you hold a full UK driving licence with a minimum of 1 year experience on the road.

About You


You don't need experience to join our team, we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you'll need, we'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) too!

All we need you to bring is:-

  • A caring and compassionate attitude and approach
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • An understanding of the importance of routines and guidelines
  • Confidence to go in the water, as swimming is a regular activity
  • Confidence in the use of computers
  • A full UK driving license

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
