Ready for a new job that actually means something?

Tired of the same routine? Want a job where you can make a real difference every single day? Whether you're starting out, changing careers, or looking for something flexible - we've got a part-time (16 to 30 hours per week) opportunity waiting for you in Irvine.

Our teams and the people we support

You'll become part of one of our friendly, welcoming teams who supports a young man who enjoys living an active life and have a variety of hobbies include going for walks, out to the disco, drives in his car, listening to music and going bowling.

We'll be looking to you to help identify new opportunities for participation and inclusion where he can achieve his personal goals and aspirations.

Due to the young man having his own mobility car which he uses often, for this role we will need you to have a full UK manual drivers licence with a years experience on the roads. We would also be looking for a person that is a keen walker and likes to be energetic.

About you

No experience? No problem! We'll train you, pay you and support you every step of the way. You'll even gain funded, recognised qualifications as you work.

We want people who are: -

  • Kind, positive and up for a challenge
  • Great team players
  • Willing to learn and try new things
  • Ready to make a difference
  • Confident using computers and tablets

  • No uniform - we wear our own casual clothes
  • We fund up to £500 towards driving lessons
  • We reimburse your SSSC registration and PVG fees
  • Access to professional development and career progression opportunities

Shift Patterns

We’re dedicated to providing the best 24/7 support, so shift patterns will typically start at 9.30am through to 9.30am the next day with a sleepover included. Weekends and public holidays will form part of your rota on a rotational basis. However, this does typically change on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday due to day service commitments for the young man.

The sleepover part of a sleepover shift is not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional £107.60 for each sleepover worked.

Don't wait - apply today and start a career that changes lives (including yours).

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.

Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
