Looking for a fresh start and a role with real purpose?

Our amazing teams across Dumbarton and Renton are looking for new colleagues to join them on a part-time (16-30 hours per week), permanent basis.

Our teams and the people we support

You'll be joining our fun and friendly housing support teams supporting individuals within their own homes.

You'll build a genuine relationship with each of the individuals and be part of the moments that really matter; whether it's providing support to cook a meal, achieve a goal, trying something new or just feel understood.

As well as supporting the individuals with all aspects of their daily living, the people we support have a range of interests from going to the pub for some lunch or dinner, attending pottery classes and finding new places to go for a day trip.

This isn't just a support role, it's building trust, sharing laughs and helping people live life their way!

About you

No experience? No problem! We'll train you, pay you and support you every step of the way. You'll even gain funded, recognised qualifications as you work.

We want people who are: -

  • Kind, positive and up for a challenge
  • Great team players
  • Willing to learn and try new things
  • Ready to make a difference
  • Confident using computers and tablets

Due to the people we support having their own mobility cars, it would be beneficial if you have a full UK manual drivers licence with 1 years’ experience on the roads but this isn’t a deal breaker for the right candidate.

What makes Cornerstone a great place to work

  • You'll have a meaningful job doing things that you enjoy - it often doesn't feel like work
  • No uniform - we wear our own casual clothes
  • We fund up to £500 towards driving lessons
  • We reimburse your yearly SSSC registration and PVG fees
  • Access to professional development and career progression opportunities
  • Recommend a colleague bonus scheme
  • Long service awards
  • Access to a 24/7 independent employee assistance helpline
  • 26 days annual leave (rising by 5 days after 5 years) plus 4 paid bank holidays
  • Family friendly leave options, including family, parental, bereavement and special leave
  • Access to lots of discounts, including the cinema, gym memberships, holidays and shopping to name a few

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible shift patterns will typically fall between 9am and 8pm. Public holidays and weekends would be a requirement on a rotational basis. Sleepover shifts are also available.

Sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours and you’ll receive an additional sleepover payment of £107.60 per sleepover shift worked.

Don't wait - apply today and start a career that changes lives (including yours).

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.

Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
