Based in Clydebank, our Fabulous #TeamAilsa are on the lookout for a reliable, patient and upbeat *female colleague with a calm nature to join them as a Support Practitioner.
The Role and the people you will support
Through tailored care plans, our friendly team support 4 ladies in one house and 3 ladies in another with various learning disabilities to live in their own home where they can achieve their individual goals and live their best life. This role involves supporting the ladies in their day to day lives which includes housework, personal care, making meals and attending appointments. As a Support Practitioners we’ll need you to be flexible in your approach whilst being able to follow guidelines.
About You
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills and will give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even put you through your SVQ qualification too!
All we’ll need you to bring is;
- Full UK, driving licence
- A caring and compassionate attitude.
- The ability to work well in a team.
- Great communication and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Good administration skills.
- Confidence in the use of technology.
For this role, it would be beneficial if you had a full UK manual driving licence with a years experience on the roads but this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidates.
Shift Pattern
Our team are dedicated to providing tailored care 24/7 to the ladies they support and will cover a mixture of dayshifts, backshifts, sleepovers and waking nights.
