Our fabulous #TeamWeavers is on the lookout for a caring and motivated male* colleague to them as a Support Practitioner on a permanent part-time (33.5 hours per week) basis.

The Role

As a Support Practitioner, you'll support the individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, support to activities and appointments, managing personal finances, assisting with medication and personal care.

The gentleman you will be supporting enjoys going for trips out in his car and attending his local groups and clubs. When not out and about in the community, the gentleman enjoys watching movies and listening to music in his own personal music room. With your guidance and support, you'll help the people we support to maintain their own homes and be an active member of their local community.

About You


You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll pay you for your training and even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!


What we need you to bring: -

  • A caring and compassionate attitude and approach
  • The ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative
  • Good communication skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Having a full UK Manual driving licence would be beneficial for this role but isn't essential as the gentleman does have his own mobility car.

Shift Patterns

Our dedicated team provide 24 hour support with shifts including waking nights, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays would also form part of your rota on a rotational basis. Shifts may occasionally vary depending on the needs of the people we support and activities planned.


Our sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional £100.80 for every sleepover you work.
