Looking for a new part-time job with satisfaction you'd struggle to find anywhere else? You're in luck as we're on the look out for friendly, enthusiastic and reliable new colleagues to complete our amazing #TeamBerrybank in Maud on a permanent part-time (16, 20 or 25 hours per week) basis.

The Role

You'll become part of fun and friendly team who supports six individuals, all with different support needs to live in their own homes. All of individual's homes are situated in the same housing support complex, so there will be no travel to other support locations while on shift.

The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same! Your main aim will be to support the individuals with all aspects of daily living, including shopping, housework, finances, medication and personal care.

All of the individuals are very active and love to get out and about, so you’ll also find yourself being involved in activities like going for walks, riding adapted bikes, swimming, baking and arts & crafts.

Due to the rural location and some of the individuals we support having their own mobility cars we will need you to have a full manual, UK driving licence.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!

All we’ll need you to bring is;

  • A full driving licence, due to the rural location of our service
  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Confidence to go in the water, as swimming is a regular activity
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of each individual, our shift currently fall into patterns of 0800-1600, 0900-1500, 1600-2200. Sleepovers, weekends and public holidays would also form part of your rota on a rotational basis.
