The Role


As a Support Practitioner you'll be part of a friendly and dedicated team and we'll guarantee you heaps of job satisfaction where no two days are ever the same. You'll provide support to adults with various disabilities and/or additional support needs in Perth.


Your main aim will be supporting the individuals with their day to day needs including personal care, shopping, finances, cooking, housework and medication. In addition, with all of the individuals we support enjoying being part of their local community, we're also looking for you to be enthusiastic and creative about participating in and supporting with their hobbies and interests which include activity clubs, swimming, football, boccia, day trips and eating out.


About you

We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need to be successful in your new role. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) and yearly SSSC registration fees too! However, for these particular role it would be preferred if you hold a full UK driving license and have access to your own vehicle (travel expenses would be reimbursed as set out in Corrnerstone's expense policy with travel reimbursed by HMRC legislation).

Shift Patterns


As we are dedicated to providing support that is tailored to the needs of each individual, shift patterns for this role will usually involve working split shifts during the hours of 0800-2000 hours Monday- Friday and 1000-1930 hours Saturday & Sunday. There will also be occasions where you work later shifts to support individuals to attend shows, concerts and activity groups and sleepovers to support trips away.
