You're in luck as we're looking for people like you to join us as Support Practitioners in our amazing #TeamCrudenlea in Stonehaven on a permanent (16-39 hours per week) basis.


The Role

As a Support Practitioner, you'll become part of a friendly, fun and dedicated team who supports ten individuals, all with various disabilities and additional support needs to live in their shared home. There's never a dull moment at Crudenlea, so if you're looking for a job where it's different every day, then this is the role for you!

The main focus of the Support Practitioner role is to support the individuals with all aspects of their daily living, including, shopping, finances, meal preparation, housework and personal care. ​​​​​​You'll also support with their hobbies and interests too so will find yourself enjoying time at the cinema and theatre, going to the football to watch Aberdeen FC, getting creative in the kitchen and various other indoor and outdoor activities too.

We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills to be successful in your new role. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too!​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​​​​​​To be a great Support Practitioner, we’ll need you to bring:-

  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • The ability to cook (baking would be a bonus too)
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts will usually fall into patterns of 0730-1500, 1400-2100, 1500-2130 hours, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays.

Depending on your size of contract, you will work around 2-3 sleepovers per month. Our sleepovers don't form part of your contracted hours, you'll receive an additional payment of £84 for every sleepover shift you work!

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
