Our amazing #TeamCraigewan in Peterhead are now on the lookout for a new *female colleague to join them on a part-time basis (20 hours). So, if you're caring and patient with a positive attitude, you could be just who we're looking for!


The Role


The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same. Your main aim will be to provide support to a lady who has autism and a personality disorder. For this opportunity, we're ideally looking for someone who has a knowledge and understanding of Autism who will appreciate the importance of providing consistency.


As a Support Worker, you'll assist with all aspects of this lady’s daily life including cooking, housework & finances. We'll also need you to be enthusiastic about supporting her with hobbies and interests too, these include arts & crafts, drawing, watching television and maintaining contact with her family on her iPad.


All we’ll need you to bring is;

  • A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support

As we’re dedicated to providing around the clock support that is tailored to the needs of each individual, shift will usually fall into patterns between the hours of 0700 - 2100 hours and will include weekend working on a rotational basis.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
