We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to join our ICT team - keeping systems running, users supported and services online across our organisation.
This role can be based at any of our locations in the South/West of Scotland (Glasgow, Airdrie, Dumbarton, Irvine or Galashiels), so we will need you to live within a reasonable commute of one of these locations.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong problem-solving mindset (you enjoy the tricky stuff)
- Good communication skills (you can translate tech into plain English)
- Experience in 1st line support or a similar role
- Full UK manual driving licence and access to your own vehicle (travel required, expenses reimbursed)
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be the go-to for 1st line support, owning issues from ticket to resolution and making tech work seamlessly for colleagues who rely on it every day.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software & network issues
- Manage and prioritise support tickets like a pro
- Deploy and configure devices (laptops, mobiles, peripherals)
- Support users remotely and on-site
- Keep systems running smoothly across multiple locations

Working hours
Your core hours will typically be worked during office hours Monday-Friday, with occasional on call duties.
