Job Description:

Experienced Personal Assistant required to join a successful team supporting a female in her 50's with MS.

Do you enjoy being part of a small team supporting individuals to live and active and fulfilled life ?

A new Personal Assistant is required to support a lady living in the rural area of Tealing, Dundee. You will be part of a close team who provide regular care.

Due to the location of this position having a clean driving license and own car are essential. The location of this position is not on a transport route.

Personal care aspects of this role mean only females need apply as permitted under Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010

You must be a non smoker and comfortable around dogs.

Experience of personal care and moving and handling essential. Light domestic tasks may also be requested when required.

If you are outgoing and friendly with a love of supporting people to live an independent life. This may be the position for you.

The job of personal assistant is unique and like no other, you provide and essential element of support to allow individuals to live their best life.

You must be able to become a member of the PVG scheme.

The SDS Service at Dundee Carers centre exists to support people to employ their own Personal Assistants and/or purchase services using direct payments. As an organisation we are not the employer, but assist people to look for staff if they need them. If you are employed, your contract will be with the person in receipt of the direct payment and not with Dundee Carers Centre or the SDS Service.
