Care Compliance officer – JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Compliance Officer

Responsible to: Deputy Home Care Manager

Hours: 37 per week

Salary: £29000 -£30000

Annual Leave: 25 plus 12 public

Function

Produce SMART action plans in line with audit and review findings, supporting continuous improvement

To raise safeguarding or serious non –compliance and risk issues to the Home Care Manager and Deputy Home Care Manager immediately

Duties

1. Ensure organisation complies with CI, GDPR and other regularity requirements.

2. Conduct Internal audits and compliance checks with clear reporting to management.

3. Support management to be Inspection ready.

4. Analyse quality trends and identify risk areas

5. Identify non-compliance areas and ensure corrective actions are embedded within agreed timescales

6. Support Team Leaders to ensure self-audits of support plans are maintained and up to date

7. Maintain detailed records of audit process, findings and recommendations and prepare reports for management. produce written reports to home care manager on delivery of service

8. Create and implement quality control systems and procedures to enhance service delivery and operation.

Administration duties

Required to do administration in line with maintaining service delivery

Undertake any other tasks as reasonably requested.
