Care Assistant (Nights)

No sponsorship available to overseas candidates.

£350 joining fee after a successful probationary period. There is also a £150 referral fee for anyone that is successful that you have referred.

Duties:

• Receive reports at start of each shift.
• Carry out duties and tasks delegated under supervision of trained staff. This will include all aspects of personal hygiene, toileting, bathing, dressing and feeding of frail elderly residents.
• Report any abnormalities detected to R.G.N./Senior Staff.
• Undertake escort duties as appropriate.
• Form part of a team using key workers.
• Use mechanical aids provided, in appropriate manner, for moving and handling immobile clients.
• Answer call/emergency bells promptly, summoning aid as appropriate.
• Ensure bedrooms and residents’ personal belongings are kept tidy.
• Care and appropriate use of all Home equipment, and all residents’ possessions.
• Set/clear tables, trays, serve meals/drinks to residents and visitors.
• Read and comply with local policies and procedures.
• Attend and contribute to staff meetings as appropriate.
• Undertake in-house training programmes.
• Undertake national training programmes, as appropriate.

Full Time, 12 hour shifts, 3 on 3 off pattern
