Hillcrest Futures is recruiting for a Nightworker.

About the Service

St John’s Hill is supported accommodation for adults based in the centre of Edinburgh.

The service is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We support individuals who are homeless that have complex needs and are most likely to have experienced some level of trauma, exclusion and stigma in their life.

About the Role

As a night worker you will be the first point of contact for supported individuals, members of the public and emergency services.

You will be responsible for the safety and security of the building during the night. Ensuring common areas are kept clean and tidy.

Appropriate training will be provided which will require you to attend sessions during the day.

About You

You will:

  • Work as part of a rota that involves you working Friday/Saturday & Sunday nights
  • Have a positive, flexible attitude and approach
  • Be confident and assertive in your approach
  • Be confident in lone working
