Care Trainer / Assessor

We are looking to recruit a motivated and experienced Care Trainer / Assessor to join our team.

Their main role will be set within the Training and SQA department of our Care at Home business and include the following:

• Training Care staff as directed to industry minimum standards
• Creating and maintaining relevant training plans
• Updating training documents
• Developing professional relationships and promoting training courses
• Maintaining staff training plans
• Assessing and supporting staff through their SVQ's in Care and Leadership.

The role is to support the growth of our new SQA and Training Centre and will be a permanent position. Initially this role is part time and a full time role may be considered.

An Assessors qualification or equivalent is preferred but not essential. You will be working with a small and motivated team supporting our large staff groups to develop their skills, broaden their knowledge and gaining SVQ opportunities.
