· Are you committed to a person-centred approach?

· Are you enthusiastic and imaginative?

Then you could be Key!

We are looking for new workers to join a well-established team at our Helensburgh Service.

The Support Worker role involves providing support to people in all aspects of their lives. Due to our ongoing service development, we are supporting two mature men to move to a new home within the Garelochhead area of Argyll and Bute.

The two individuals have varied interests which include arts, music, quiz shows, spending time with family, socialising in the local community and they enjoy good company and laughter with others which in turn will provide a happy stimulating environment in their new home.

This is a truly unique opportunity, if you are looking for a new challenge which provides a good work life balance and flexible working pattern this could be the opportunity for you.

A commitment to a person-centred approach is essential and experience of working with people with learning disabilities is desirable.

Applicants should be able to work flexibly as part of the team, we provide 24 hour care each day with shift patterns including early shifts, backshifts, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.

Key provides excellent professional supervision, support and training, including access to the SVQ Framework and a chance to really make a difference to people’s lives.

Join us and make every day matter! No experience necessary! Training and support will be given to help you achieve your full potential.

If you would like to get involved in support work but cannot commit to a contract because you have other commitments, we also have opportunities to join our register of relief workers who provide support based on their availability.

We would encourage you to submit your application at the earliest convenience as we may be able to offer interview at an earlier date to shortlisted candidates.

If you would like to arrange an informal chat to find out more, please Scott McShannon, Support & Development Manager, by phone on 07385 461464 or by email on scott.mcshannon@key.org.uk
