Our Barrhead Project based in the East Renfrewshire area of Glasgow provides a housing support & care at home service to adults with learning and physical disabilities.

We are looking to recruit an Administrator to join our team within our Barrhead Project. The successful candidate will be required to provide comprehensive administration support to the Registered Service Manager and Team Leaders which ensures high quality, person-centred service provision.

You will be required to work 25 hours per week, with a Wednesday being a fixed office day. Flexibility is available on days/hours per day following discussions with the Manager.

Some key responsibilities of the Administrator role are:

· Being a friendly and professional point of contact for visitors face to face, via telephone or email, ensuring enquiries are passed on or dealt with efficiently, using organisational policies, procedures and online systems where appropriate.

· Providing administrative support to colleagues as required; including the typing and presenting of personal support plans, writing and storing routine reports, and attending meetings as requested in order to take minutes and provide typed records of such meetings to required parties.

· Maintenance of online database systems for document filing & archiving, staff training records, and weekly provision of support hours, and providing accurate reports to relevant departments as per the organizational reporting schedule.

· Establishing and maintaining effective systems for recording staff training and development, and maintaining contact with the staff team to ensure that all mandatory and refresher training is completed within certification timeframes.

· Ensuring resource supplies are maintained and available to the team.

· Petty cash management and monthly reconciliation.

Whilst it would be great if you have an Administration qualification, we would be open to considering individuals with relevant work experience. Previous experience of working in the care sector would be desirable but is not essential.
