Our Muirfield Outreach Service based in the Irvine area of North Ayrshire, is a dedicated outreach service designed for children and young people with additional support needs in North and East Ayrshire.

We are looking to recruit a Part Time Childcare Practitioner who is motivated, creative and enthusiastic with the ability to deliver high quality care and support. Through the application of person-centred approaches, the successful candidate will provide invaluable support to children/young people and their families, promoting positive outcomes.

The service operates flexibly. Shifts will include evenings and weekends, therefore flexibility with regards to working patterns is essential.

Working knowledge of current legislation including GIRFEC, SHANARRI well-being outcomes and the Curriculum for Excellence is desirable and should be demonstrated through service delivery and support planning.

Qualifications or experience are not essential. We offer excellent support, training and a salary of £10.70 per hour. We also offer an £800 joiner bonus, after successful completion of probation.
