Then why not join our fantastic organisation and be part of a first-class team delivering quality care and support.

Here at The Mungo Foundation, we are proud to be one of the most diverse providers of social care and support for vulnerable people in Glasgow, West Central Scotland and beyond. At any one time across our fantastic projects, we are supporting up to 1,500 individuals, their families and communities helping them to live better lives.

Our Community Support Service, which operates across the city, provides support to adults with learning disabilities and associated health issues and/or physical disabilities to participate in a wide range of activities including drama, music and movement, creative arts, discussion groups including health and wellbeing, community support on a 1:1 basis for social activities and practical tasks. In our housing support projects, we support individuals to live a full life in their own homes and in the local community. We also provide short breaks support for individuals to enjoy time away with friends in various locations in Britain.

We are looking to recruit Community Support Workers, with various hours available, who are motivated, creative and enthusiastic with the ability to deliver high quality care and support through person centred approaches.

These posts are peripatetic across the city-wide and services operate on a day, evening and weekend basis. The ability to undertake shift work, including sleepovers, and to travel is essential and the use of a car for work purposes would be advantageous.

We also support people to go on short breaks, therefore the ability to support individuals on two, three- or four-nights short breaks is essential for the Community Support Worker posts.

We offer excellent support, training and a salary of £11.10 per hour.

If successful and unqualified, you must be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.

If you are looking for a new and rewarding challenge, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.
