Our Barrhead Project is Based in the East Renfrewshire area of Glasgow provides a housing support& care at home service to adults with learning and physical disabilities. The project provides practical day to day support to individuals, helping to promote a positive, active and healthy lifestyle and facilitating community inclusion, above all having fun!

Hello, my name is C is live in a sheltered accommodation but required support from my staff to help around the house and help me with some aspects of my personal care, I like to go out we’ll dress and smart,

I am very sociable and love chatting to staff about my plans for the day, and then thoroughly enjoy getting out and about in the community. I take great pride in my home and I need your support to ensure that I can keep this maintained to the standard that I want it to be.

My Name is A and I also stay at sheltered accommodation and like to go out to the shops with my staff and like help from staff to order my dinner and also pick my dinner up from my grans,

The Barrhead Project is looking for an enthusiastic housing support worker who can think on their feet and who is able to help to make a real difference to A and the other people we support. The project provides practical day to day support to individuals, helping to promote a positive, active and healthy lifestyle and facilitating community inclusion, above all having fun!
