Since 2016, Penumbra have been providing Peer Support within GP Practices in Angus. In 2020, Angus Health & Social Care commissioned Peer Workers to be based within every GP practice in Angus. Penumbra currently provide Peer support to adults over the age of 16, within 6 GP practices in South Angus.

The Angus Peer service provides the opportunity for anyone over the age of 16 years to speak to a Peer Worker about their mental health challenges and to consider what options they have to help them feel more in control of managing their mental health.
