No previous experience is required to volunteer; just a positive attitude and a commitment to promoting good mental health and wellbeing in your community.

Penumbra 365 Service in Aberdeen city is a single point of access for people aged 18 and over who are seeking support with mental health, wellbeing, or distress.

Through our Welcome Team, people are given time and space to talk through their needs and explore the options available to them, ensuring there is no wrong door to support.

We are looking to grow our team by developing a network of volunteers who add value to the work we do. As part of a vibrant team, you will support a range of service activities, including Workshops on Wellbeing. Using your local knowledge, communication skills, and flexibility, you will also help promote the service across communities in the city.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to people’s lives every day and we can promise you’ll be inspired by some pretty amazing humans every single day. With passion and compassion, you will help bring creativity and positivity to empowering people to improve their wellbeing. In return, we will support you on your own individual volunteering path, helping you to gain experience and develop new skills.
