We also pay sleepover hours at £10.52 per hour and a premium Nightshift rate of £11.61 paid between midnight and 7am.

Quarriers Ayrshire Youth Support Service has self-contained, single person flats grouped together with 24/7 staff support available on site, as well as a satellite house out in the community where Young People to share. We also provide an outreach service to young people across South Ayrshire.

We are looking for a permanent Relief Project Worker to provide housing support to vulnerable young men and women aged 16-25. The service works on a rota system which includes day shift, back shift and nightshift and the post has flexible working hours. You will receive a full programme of training and the opportunity to obtain a SVQ 3 qualification.

We need you to be a positive role model for young people and support them to identify, plan and achieve their life goals using a range of person centred and holistic approaches. You will work directly with young people to gain their trust and support them to engage in learning experiences that promote their academic education, self-confidence, independent living skills and resilience.

All our staff contribute to a positive team ethos of on-going practice development and innovation, this includes practice/philosophy and policies of the organisation. We would like you to have a good level of understanding and empathy regarding issues affecting young people who have experienced adversity.
