We are currently looking to increase our staff resource in Dundee and are looking for people who can help our supported individuals to achieve their own positive outcomes and are therefore looking to recruit Bank Support Practitioners to join the team to provide support.

No previous experience in care is required as you will be provided with full training by our excellent and award-winning learning & development team prior to starting. This training initially consists of classroom-based sessions and e-learning as well as the opportunity to shadow current Support Practitioners in their day-to-day role and meet the people you will be supporting.

About the Role:

Your responsibilities as a Support Practitioner could include:

· Social Support- Assisting individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various leisure activities such as day centres, cinema, swimming etc.

· Personal Care- Assisting people to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care which would include assistance with bathing, dressing, arranging visits with the dentist/doctor, incontinence care.

· Practical Support- Helping people to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, shopping.
