Our fabulous Hopeman Avenue service, in the south of Glasgow have recently been through a period of change and looking to redevelop, which has created an exciting opportunity for proactive and enthusiastic individuals .

Do you have a creative and fun nature? Then join us as a Bank Support Practitioner. Our bank contracts will give you flexibility over the days and hours you work, tell us when you're available and we'll look to give you shifts to fit.? ??

You don't need experience in care to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We’ll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Support Practitioner and pay you for time.

The Role

Based in Arden (5 min drive from Silverburn Shopping Centre), our team provide holistic support to 8 adults with predominantly Mental Health support needs within our care home setting.

Although this role will include support duties, we’ll be looking to you to help drive our team forward by community mapping in search of fun activities, participation groups and events for the people we support to attend and try out.

As a Bank Support Practitioner you’ll play a vital role within our team providing shift cover to ensure continued high-quality, person-centred care and support during times of need, led by the service needs.

To be part of our team, we’ll need you to:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in using computers.
  • Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own.
  • Good organisational and event planning skills.

Shift Patterns

Our dedicated friendly team provide 24/7 support which is tailored to the needs of each individual and shifts include earlies, days, and sleepovers.
